How many people can be accommodated in each office?

The serviced offices start at 2 people upwards.

What is the minimum contract length?

1 month for serviced offices if you do not require us to set up a DED licence.

How soon can I move in?

Within 24 hours subject to availability.

Can I customize my office?

We provide a desk, chair and drawers for each person, if you require any additional matching furniture we can organize this for you. Alternatively you can bring your own.

Why should I choose an Oryx serviced office over renting a conventional office?

With a conventional office you will require an annual contract and will need to invest in office fit out, phone lines and IT, cleaning and maintenance as well as reception staff. An Oryx serviced office means you do not need to make these investments upfront, you can get all these services straight away, pay monthly allowing you to concentrate on running your business and enabling you to easily manage your cash flow.

Can I take an office without company formation?

Yes you can as long as you have a DED licence.

How secure is the office?

The entire Empire Heights building has 24 hour security. Outside of office hours you can only access the offices by using your security pass. All offices can be locked and you will be issued with your own key.

How does your serviced office pricing work?

Our pricing system is very simple. The price of each office is based on the number of desks with a price per desk. The more desks that can be accommodated in an office, the higher the office rental price.
We have internal offices, external offices and premium external offices and prices range accordingly. Our rates are all inclusive so if you do not go over your meeting room or printing allowance then all you pay is phone bills plus the rate we quote.

How close are you to local amenities?

Empire Heights Towers are located very close to the Dubai Mall where you can find different restaurants, shops and banks as well as Dubai Mall metro station for easy transport links to the rest of Dubai.

I’m only in Dubai one day per week, what office would suit me?

You could use our day offices or flexidesks and pay as you go, therefore you are not paying to use offices when you are not there.


Professional Services

Can the receptionist answer calls in my company name?

Yes, let us know how you would like the receptionist to answer your calls answered/forwarded and we will arrange this.

How can I monitor my printing allowance?

You can monitor your printing allowance at any time by entering your personal code into the printer.

How secure is the printing I send to the printer?

In order to release any printing you have sent to the printer, you will need to go to the printer and enter a personal code, which keeps your printing confidential.

Can I supply my own printer instead?

Yes, this is no problem at all.

How good is the internet?

We have fast and secure internet connections:
100MB shared line ensuring faster connection and upload/download time
Dedicated bandwidth available on request
RJ45 Port connections and CAT 6 cabling
Secured wireless connection on request
Managed secure firewall connection
High speed internet access and VLAN facilities

Meeting Solutions

Can I rent meeting rooms if I do not have an office with you?

Yes you can, contact us for a quote.

Do you have formal meeting rooms?

Yes we have a formal boardroom which can seat up to 12 people.

Do you have less formal boardrooms?

Yes you can use our informal majilis for up to 8 people.

How do I book meeting rooms and check availability?

Contact our receptionist who is available Sunday to Thursday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

What about refreshments for our visitors?

Refreshments are included in our meeting room rates.



What are your payment terms?

For our serviced offices and virtual offices you will need to pay a 2 month deposit upfront then you can pay quarterly, we will require post dated cheques for the contract.
For our day offices and flexidesks, payment is made at the time of booking.
For any extra professional services and meeting solutions, this will be invoiced and is payable at the end of each month.

Why should I choose Oryx over other serviced offices in Dubai?

Our pricing system means you know exactly what your outgoings will be each month. We have assessed our competitors offerings and feel the packages on offer are very confusing. We give you 2 options, our all inclusive package which offers great value for money or you can tailor make your own package so you only pay for the services you need. The pricing is as simple as possible and gives you ultimate flexibility.

What if I don’t want all the services in the all inclusive package?

This is not a problem, with our build your own package you only pay for the services you use and need, so this would work well.


Company Formation

Can you offer business set up without taking an office?

Yes we can.

Can you help me with business set up in another Emirate?

Unfortunately not, we only offer business set up in Dubai.

Can you provide sponsorship as well as PRO services?

Yes we can, our Company Formation partner offers a choice of excellent sponsors which we carefully match with your budget and business activity to assist you appropriately.

What costs can I expect for Company Formation?

There are various different costs and these depend on the type of company you set up, contact us for a quote. Example costs include sponsor fee, immigration and labour registration fees, visa fees, courier fees, medical costs and service fees.

I already have a sponsor, can you take care of everything else?

Yes, this is no problem at all.

How long does the process take for Company Formation?

Again this depends on the type of company you set up, but the process can usually be done in 14 working days once we have received all the required documents.
